well, here it is, all put together! mostly. ignore the tape and chewing gum holding the sides together, i promise this place is structurally sound. the first post on things like these is always kind of awkward--do i start by introducing myself? or do i just dive right in and ramble about nothing. fuck if i know, i just like putting together sparkly things. i still wouldn't really call myself a coder by any means, i slapped this site together out of three different templates i found, so it's not like i hand coded the thing. but, you know, it's still mine, i guess. and i'm proud of that, which is good, because i sure don't have a lot to be proud of. i kinda just sit in my room all day wither playing video games or watching youtube videos. sometimes i go out for a shift at the library, but it's only a part time job. other than that, i don't have a lot going on. no ambitions really. i kinda just float along the surface waiting for a higher purpose, or the day i'll magically know exactly what to do.

haha, is that depressing? sorry, i don't want my first blog post here to be all saps and sadness. maybe talk about plans i have for the website? don't know that either, i'm notoriously bad at joining communities; i just don't really know how to talk to people. i keep to myself and my games. i try to make friends and join things, but i always find myself...i don't know, pulling away. i feel like i need time to decompress but all the time.

again with the sad thinkings! straightforward, plans for the site: i want to make shrines. i do a lot of daydreaming about various fictional universes and it would be nice ot have a little page all about my husband (his name is arlequino, he's from karakuri circus, you'll learn more about him soon lol). probably something about soul eater, cryptids, all that jazz. might make a toybox, too. i've been digitally hoarding a ton of transparent graphics over my time on the internet (mainly tumblr), the only problem being i have so many that i...can't remember the artists for most of them. in my defense, i collected a good majority of them when i was still a teenager, and never really planned on sharing them. well, maybe i can work on reverse image searching them and then i'll put em here. plus i do have a few of my own! one of the few things i'd say i'm pretty okay at is "cutting out" art from manga panels to make them into nice transparent decorations, or...whatever you call it. i just call em little guys

i'd like to join some webrings, too. maybe post on a couple forums? i dunno what i'd say but, yknow. maybe start up a fanlisting for karakuri circus--i will genuinely be surprised if there already is one. sometimes it feels like only me and three other people even know about that manga. either way, uh, this feels long enough for a first blog post, right? i'm not good at this kind of thing, lol. i don't know how much i'll post, but i don't want to just drop this site as soon as i'm done with it as a project. party on, webmasters.
